Kitty was absolutely right. Nothing feels better than a friendly face from home, especially when it's Peter Kavinsky in XO, Kitty Season 2. Fans waited for almost a year to watch Kitty 2.0, and little did they know about the biggest surprise: Noah Centineo making a cameo.

Following a tricky first semester and a love triangle, Kitty Song Covey was given another chance at KISS, and she is determined not to let it slip. As she enters into a new semester and faces new challenges that bring her down, Noah Centineo's Peter steps in to support her.

Peter makes a memorable appearance in XO, Kitty Season 2 Episode 6 "Kiss and Makeup," with I Like Me Better by Lauv playing in the background, creating the perfect vibe. While the moment was undeniably exciting for fans, it was "kind of daunting" for Noah Centineo.

Following his cameo in XO, Kitty Season 2, Noah Centineo talked about reprising his role in an interview with PEOPLE. The actor said:

"Not kind of—it is daunting. It's extremely scary... I mean, that franchise is so beloved, that you kind of don't want to touch it."

The Recruit star explained his cameo as "a bit of a risk," as the franchise is so cherished, and Noah Centineo didn't want to disappoint fans. Peter last appeared in To All the Boys: Always and Forever, as it serves as the final chapter in the film franchise.

XO, Kitty Season 2 featured some of the standout moments, like the hot tub scene and Kitty falling on the track just like her sister Lara Jean in the original films. Not only this, but it also reunited Kitty with Peter, as she navigates new challenges in her life.

As previously mentioned, Noah Centineo described reprising his role as Peter as taking a risk. However, when it came to working with Anna Cathcart and acknowledging his work, the actor said:

"I love Anna so much. She's just doing such an incredible job and [I'd do] anything to support her. She's such a hardworking actress and such a professional."

He continued:

"I joke and say she was literally the most hardworking person, most prepared person on all the films for To All the Boys. And she works so hard [on XO, Kitty]. She deserves it all."

Centineo highlighted Cathcart's hard work in the To All the Boys films and lauded his efforts for the spin-off series. Kitty's journey began with her decision to find out who her mom was. During her quest, she falls in love, gets her heart broken, and causes notable trouble, and it is all worth watching.

Now in Season 2, Kitty Song Covey realized that she wasn't after her mother's first love but her family members whom she never met. As seen in Episode 2, Kitty learns that her grandmother has a sister, and she needs to reunite them just as her mother Eve wanted.

Fans are eagerly awaiting Kitty's third semester because they might finally see her in a committed relationship, especially since the second chapter also ended with Min Ho and Kitty together.
