The popular Netflix show, The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On, aired its eighth episode on December 11, 2024. Netflix aired three episodes in the segment.
The show's eighth episode, You're Playing With Fire, featured four couples navigating their relationships. They were Zaina - J.R., Aria - Scotty, Mariah - Caleb, and Sandy - Nick.
One of the couples, Zaina and J.R., discussed his trial marriage period with fellow cast member Sandy. Fans must remember Sandy, whose original partner, Nick, was upset about her and J.R.'s intimacy during their time together.
During their date, when J.R. asked Zaina if she thought that he would be leaving the show with Sandy, she responded:
"No, never. That never crossed my mind. Not one time."
The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On: J.R. and Zaina discuss about Sandy and his trial marriage
During The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On Episode 8, Zaina and J.R. discussed his time with Sandy. It was when he was in a trial marriage with a fellow participant. The couple was out on a date, reflecting on various incidents from the experiment.
"What we created here is, like, so special, and I just want to keep nourishing that and seeing it grow more and more. I felt like I fell in love with you again. I never fell out of love with you, but I felt like we were drifting apart," shared Zaina.
She added that they were moving "very independently" and "rarely coming together." The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On star said she was glad they "reconnected" with each other.
J.R. said he also felt the same. Zaina continued the conversation and shared that he "looked" at her differently.
"I cannot believe we're almost to the end of this. It's just so crazy to think a few days, like, we have to make a decision," shared Zaina.
The cast member, by then, had three days until they had to answer their "ultimatum."
Referring to J.R.'s trial marriage with Sandy, Zaina shared that:
"I truly appreciate about you and our trial marriage is how, like, open you were to this process, and as much as I hate some of the things I found out about you and Sandy, I still, to this day, like, think that was the best match for you."
She mentioned that J.R. needed someone who would challenge him. For that, Sandy "did not shy away," as Zaina shared. She added that J.R. evolved "so much" from that first trial marriage and that she was glad about it.
When J.R. asked if she suspected he would leave the experiment with Sandy and not her, Zaina said that "never crossed" her mind. When J.R. asked why, she asked, "Why would it?"
Netflix now exclusively streams the eight episodes of The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On.
