Jin of BTS is back. Not in uniform. Not in Run Jin. This time, he’s on a floating guesthouse in the middle of the sea. Netflix has released another official poster for Kian’s Bizarre B&B, the chaotic new variety series starring Jin, and it’s already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated events of the year for fans around the world.

The show, set against the remote beauty of Ulleungdo Island, brings together an unlikely trio: eccentric host Kian84, rookie captain Ji Ye-eun, and Jin, who steps into a role that might just redefine how the world sees him.

In the newly released poster, the cast stands aboard a brightly colored structure bobbing on the ocean, surrounded by vast water and zero signs of civilization. The tagline says it all—"When imagination comes to life"—already suggesting the pure chaos that awaits the contestants.

And sometimes, it's just Jin trying to keep the whole thing from sinking.

While Kian84 devises unpredictable schemes and Ji Ye-eun navigates her experience, Jin becomes the calm presence holding it all together. He cooks, he organizes, he keeps the chaos from tipping over. Producers call him the lynchpin of the series. Viewers will probably just call him essential. Right?

Wait! Do you really know Jin?

From Run Jin to Netflix debut

For longtime fans, Kian’s Bizarre B&B isn’t just a fun side project. This is not Jin's first rodeo at variety shows; only now the Worldwide Handsome of BTS goes global.

Since his discharge from the military in 2024, Jin of BTS has been charming the audiences with his music and Run Jin, a solo variety series on BANGTAN TV where he took on everything from games (A Squid Jin Game included) to cooking challenges. Now, Kian’s Bizarre B&B puts him in a completely new environment and a global spotlight.

It’s not just about surviving unpredictable island life. It’s about showing what kind of person Jin is when the cameras are rolling, the waves are rising, and nothing is going according to plan.

The ARMY has been counting down the days

Since Jin enlisted in late 2022, fans had been eagerly awaiting his return. The moment came, and then? One good surprise after another. Now, Jin of BTS, the king of variety shows, is going global, so?

The moment Kian’s Bizarre B&B was announced, the excitement was immediate. This is his major project to debut on Netflix, after all.

The combination of Jin’s dry humor, surprising practicality, and emotional intelligence makes him uniquely suited for a show like this. It’s not about big gestures. It’s about quiet strength, and Jin has always had that in abundance.

A new kind of variety show and a new chapter for Jin of BTS beyond music

Unlike polished studio sets and scripted segments, Kian’s Bizarre B&B drops its cast into real environments where improvisation is key. The sea is unpredictable. The food doesn’t always cooperate. And the guesthouse itself looks more like an art project than a place of rest.

But in the middle of it all, Jin shines. Not because he’s trying to, but because he can’t help it. He brings a grounding energy to everything he does. That’s the magic of watching him. It’s the same magic that carried Run Jin, and it’s the same magic that will carry this show too.

The nine-episode series, Kian’s Bizarre B&B, will premiere globally on Netflix starting April 8, with three new episodes released each week.
