Netflix has just dropped a brand new trailer for the seventh installment of the thrilling franchise Formula 1: Drive to Survive, which showcases the stars of the extreme sport and their speedy lives as they navigate through their careers as racing drivers.
Showing behind-the-scenes footage featuring Carlos Sainz, Charles Leclerc, and Lewis Hamilton, the trailer takes fans through a ride on what the next season will focus on. It features multiple intriguing scenes from the sports stars' lives, as Leclerc remarks
"We are the Kardashians of Formula 1"
The new trailer for Formula 1: Drive to Survive shows fans glimpses of last year's Formula 1 season and the major events that shaped the sport. One such event included Lewis Hamilton's exit from Mercedes, which sparked an uproar in the industry as he made his way to Ferrari. Mercedes boss Toto Wolff commented on his shift and says,
“After 12 years together, Lewis tells me he’s going to Ferrari… Really!?”
Carlos Sainz, who Hamilton replaced at Ferrari will most likely be a highlight this year on the show as we delve deeper into the business decisions that went into shuffling the racers. He's seen in the trailer talking about how the sport is pretty tough and in another scene he is attended to in a medical facility.
Another tense moment in the trailer sees Alpine's Flavio Briatore, who exerts control over Jack Doohan and tells him
“I control you every millimetre”.
The action-packed peek at the seventh season promises to be another electrifying ride as fans witness the racers' lives outside of their cars. Set to hit the digital platform this March, Formula 1: Drive to Survive's seventh season will surely be a thrilling ride.

Formula 1: Drive to Survive has previously seen six highly successful seasons, becoming one of the most popular sports documentary series on the site. The documentary-style show is based on recordings made at all the races by Netflix's camera crew as they give viewers a peek at what goes on behind the races. Each team receives a separate crew that captures tense and thrilling moments for the series as fans get to understand the mechanisms of the sport. The teams also get the chance to review the material before giving it a green light.
Box to Box is behind the filming, along with Paul Martin and James Gay-Rees producing the show.
Formula 1: Drive to Survive is set to release on 7th March, more than a week before the first race of 2025 in Australia. All the previous episodes and seasons of the show are available to stream on Netflix.
