Comedy lovers pay attention— Mr. Bean star Rowan Atkinson is set to return to our screens through Netflix's new comedy series Man Vs Baby. It will serve as the follow-up to Atkinson's 2022 series Man Vs Bee, in which the actor portrayed Trevor Bingley, a hapless housesitter.

Fans will catch up with Trevor once again as he's tasked with looking after a luxurious London penthouse, but this time, he's being accompanied by a baby! This unexpected challenge and humorous narrative comes straight from Rowan Atkinson, who wrote and created the upcoming series along with Will Davies.

In the previous series, Trveor clashes with a persistent bee while taking care of a huge mansion, and this time, the chaos has been doubled as now he'll managing his job while handling the baby. While the setting has shifted to a luxurious London penthouse, the slapstick humor and chaos are as constant as ever.

Rowan Atkinson to star in Netflix's latest comedy series Man Vs Baby

As mentioned earlier, Rowan Atkinson and Will Davies collaborated to bring Man Vs Baby on Netflix, a comedy series with four episodes, each filled with enough humor and challenges for Trevor. The above picture is one of the promotional images teased by the string giant with Atkinson’s image Photoshopped into famous Netflix shows, like Fool Me Once, Dawn of the Nugget, and Sex Education Season 4.

These pictures hint at the return of the playful and absurd tone in Man Vs Baby and have fans excited about the actor's return. The synopsis of the comedy series reads:

"After a disastrous experience housesitting a high-tech mansion hampered by an inconvenient insect in Man Vs Bee, Trevor Bingley now finds himself looking after a luxurious London penthouse, with another unlikely companion he didn't ask for..."

The four-parter comedy show is currently under production with HouseSitter Productions, with David Kerr as the director. Additionally, Netflix hasn't confirmed any release date for the upcoming comedy series, but fans can expect it sometime in 2025.
