Sister Wives star Janelle alleged in episode 3 that Kody and Robyn's parenting style made the kids go through a feeling of 'separateness'. Episode 3 was released on September 29, 2024, and showed Kody contemplating his three failed marriages and parenting. The episode also featured Janelle chiming in on Kody and Robyn's approach toward the kids, which according to her was not managed well.

Janelle and Kody parted ways in 2022 after 30 years of spiritual marriage. The Brown family practiced polygamous family dynamics, and therefore, Kody Brown lived with 4 wives and his 18 children from all four together. However, Kody is separated from three wives, Mari, Christine, and Janelle, and is married to only Robyn now.

Janelle now claimed in the latest episode of Sister Wives that after Robyn came into the family, Kody was not able to manage his attention towards the kids, and the kids felt it. She opened up about Kody and Robyn's behavior towards kids and said:

"My kids were always — like, from the very beginning — they knew that their dad was not going to always be there. I always felt, like, that Kody and Robyn mismanaged the situation with her children.”

Sister Wives stars argued over kids suffering at the hands of Robyn and Kody in the latest episode.

In the latest episode of Sister Wives, the Brown family got into a tense situation when Janelle hinted that because of Robyn and Kody's bad parenting skills, other kids suffered and felt a distance in their relationship with their father, Kody. Janelle stated that Kody was so involved with Robyn and his kids with her that he did not distribute his time well among other kids.

Janelle recalled incidents from the past and said that Kody couldn't leave Robyn's house and stay away for more than 2 or 3 days. She further added:

"I feel like that was poor parenting. Through all [the] history of the family, the other kids did it. They’re fine.”

Christine also jumped in and added that her kids stopped visiting Robyn's house to meet their father because they did not like the way adults interacted.

However, Robyn denied all such claims and said she would never let Kody do that to kids. She explained that Ari, her daughter loved Kody and always wanted to spend more time with him, but that never stopped Kody from meeting his other kids. At last, Robyn was disheartened by what happened, and chimed in about the broken family dynamics, and said:

"It’s just so sad and I miss family members."

The new season of Sister Wives is available on TLC to watch. The show drops fresh episodes every Sunday at 10 pm ET.
