Tracker season 2 recently returned on CBS after a winter hiatus. The hit action drama is based on Jeffery Deaver’s novel The Never Game and stars Justin Hartley as Colter Shaw, a survivalist who travels across the country and tracks missing persons for government as well as private agencies in exchange for monetary rewards.
The series is known for its high-stakes drama and action-packed narrative. One recurring theme in the show is Colter’s family history, as his father’s murderer remains at large. In an interview with TV Insider, Justin Hartley teased how the upcoming episodes will feature even more action while the familial storyline takes center stage:
“The family thing gets real. We have a lot of action in the back part of the season.”
Justin Hartley talks about what to expect from the remaining episodes of Tracker Season 2
Following Tracker season 2’s winter premiere on February 16, 2025, Justin Hartley had an interview with TV Insider, where he teased what the remaining episodes of the season have in store for the audience.
The actor said his wife, Sofia Pernas, who plays Billie Matalon in the show, is also involved in the upcoming episodes. He also teased there is something pretty interesting in Tracker season 2 part 2 which has not been explored much on television earlier:
“There’s a really cool, and Sofia involved in it, my wife’s involved in it, episode coming up where we dive into this, I guess, sort of world that we haven’t seen on our show, and you really haven’t seen much of it on TV, if ever, maybe you have. But we dive into this really interesting world."
In the same interview, Hartley opened up about an upcoming episode where Colter and his fellows will have to race against time to save a missing person. At the same time, some eccentric villains are about to enter the storyline:
“We have a couple episodes coming up where the person that’s missing, there’s a ticking clock. A clock is ticking, big time. I mean, we don’t have a day or two or it’s like, right now.”
He added -
“That I really love. And then just some interesting, really psychotic characters that come on. Also have unsuspecting “bad guys” that you’d be like, wait, who this person, what the hell went on here?”
