Netflix's latest reality competition Battle Camp has brought together familiar faces from the streaming platform's popular shows, challenging them in ways they've never experienced before. Among these contestants is Georgia Hassarati, known for her appearances on "Too Hot To Handle" and winning "Perfect Match" season 1.

In a candid interview with Screen Rant, Georgia revealed how this physically demanding competition transformed her perspective.

"When I walked in, I was like, I'm going to take this really seriously. And surprisingly, I did. And I feel like because of that, I pushed myself really far, like probably too far – but it was good. I did pretty well because of how competitive I am. I learned a lot about myself," Georgia shared, highlighting the personal growth she experienced during the show's grueling challenges.

Unlike her previous reality TV appearances focused on dating and relationships, Battle Camp pushed Georgia outside her comfort zone, testing her physical limits and competitive spirit in ways she never anticipated – especially when former reality TV rival Chase DeMoor joined her team.

Georgia Hassarati comments on being on Battle Camp Season 1

Georgia approached Battle Camp with equal parts doubt and determination, describing herself as "delusional" about her abilities going in.

"I'm not used to doing any of the stuff that I was told I was going to be doing, but I was like, you know, let's give it a try, maybe I'll surprise myself. And honestly, I feel like I did," she admitted.

The transition from lounging "in bikinis, dating, looking cute" on her previous shows to the rugged environment of Battle Camp proved challenging. With characteristic humor, Georgia confessed:

"I feel like I didn't look cute once,"

But quickly added that she "proved a lot for myself" and felt proud of her accomplishments.

Despite not considering herself "the most physically athletic fit person," Georgia's competitive nature became her secret weapon. She compared her approach to board games, where she's so determined to win that it can lead to "a full on fight" if she loses.

This fierce drive helped her push beyond her perceived limitations.

"I feel like because of that, I pushed myself really far, like probably too far – but it was good. I did pretty well because of how competitive I am," she explained.

One of the biggest surprises in Georgia’s Battle Camp journey was reconnecting with Chase DeMoor — the same Chase she had once sent packing on Perfect Match. Heading into the competition, she braced herself for the worst, convinced he’d be out for revenge.

"I was like, if Chase comes in, I'm so screwed. He's going to come for me, he's going to get me out of here, and I'm going to be so scared because I got rid of him on Perfect Match," Georgia recalled thinking before his arrival.

But when Chase finally showed up, things took an unexpected turn. Instead of drama, they found common ground and teamed up like pros. Chase didn’t just bury the hatchet — he shook up the entire dynamic, helping their team hit its stride and start racking up wins left and right.

"He came in and honestly, we got along great. I was so blown away by how amazing of a person Chase is," she revealed.

Georgia’s personal transformation

For Georgia, Battle Camp offered more than just competition – it provided an opportunity for personal discovery. The challenging environment and team dynamics revealed strengths she hadn't fully recognized in herself before. She reflected on the experience:

"It was a huge blessing."

Especially emphasizing how one of the most fulfilling parts of her time on the show was conquering her early reservations about working with Chase.

Georgia's journey shows how venturing outside of comfort zones and facing old relationships can result in surprising growth and new partnerships in the most trying situations, as "Battle Camp" continues to enthrall Netflix audiences.
