Marvel fans are buzzing with excitement as Krysten Ritter, who played Jessica Jones, recently shared her thoughts on possibly returning in the role in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. While nothing has been confirmed yet, her response has given fans hope.

In a recent interview with CBS Mornings, Ritter expressed her love for the character and the overwhelming fan support for a comeback. She said:

"Listen, I love Jessica Jones. I think it's so exciting that there seems to be such an appetite to see her again. I get asked about it almost every day. We remain cautiously optimistic. If they asked me, I would be there ready. I may or may not have the jacket that I stole from set."

Her words suggest that while she hasn’t been officially asked to return but she’s more than willing if Marvel gives her the call.

Hints of Jessica Jones in Daredevil: Born Again

Now that Marvel Studios has confirmed that the Netflix shows (The Defenders Saga) are part of the MCU timeline, it’s more likely than ever that characters from those series could return.

Unless Marvel is keeping a huge secret, Jessica Jones probably won’t be in Daredevil: Born Again Season 1. However, there’s a strong chance she could show up in Season 2.

New set photos from Daredevil: Born Again hint that Mayor Wilson Fisk (Kingpin) will take a bigger stand against vigilantes. If that happens, heroes like Jessica Jones could be dragged into the fight.

Ritter’s comments leave room for speculation. She could be telling the truth about not being asked yet, or she might be keeping things under wraps until Marvel is ready to announce her character's return.

Since Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is still early in production, Jessica Jones might appear in the later episodes. If that’s the case, Marvel may wait to confirm her return until she starts filming.

Marvel Studios has now made the Netflix Marvel shows part of official MCU history. That means characters like Jessica Jones can return without any continuity issues.

With Charlie Cox back as Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin, fans are hoping that Ritter will soon join them in the MCU.

For now, we’ll have to wait for Marvel to make an official announcement. But based on Ritter’s words and the recent rumors, the chances of seeing Jessica Jones again look promising.
