Following the release of Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan's latest offering, Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, public figure Kim Kardashian reportedly visited Lyle and Erik Menendez in the California prison where they are lodged.
This comes after netizens and real-life figures took to social media, expressing discontent over the fictionalized parts of the anthology series.
The fashion mogul has been actively talking about prison reform, and after the Menendez brothers slammed Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, Kardashian decided to pay them a visit.
Kim Kardashian was joined by her mother Kris Jenner and younger sister Khloe Kardashian at the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility. They were also accompanied by Copper Koch who played Erik Menendez in Netflix's true-crime series.

Business mogul Kim Kardashian along with two of her family members visited around 40 inmates at the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility to discuss how she could help improve the conditions of the prison. Kardashian has been using her platform to address injustice and raise awareness about prison reforms.
During her latest visit, Kardashian also met Lyle and Erik Menendez, the convicts of the high-profile parricide in 1989. The Menendez brothers recently criticized Ryan Murphy over their portrayal in the Netflix show and shared that it disrespected their efforts to raise awareness about child abuse.
Part of the statement shared by Lyle Menendez on his Facebook account reads:
"It is sad for me to know that Netflix’s dishonest portrayal of the tragedies surrounding our crime have taken the painful truths several steps backward — back through time to an era when the prosecution built a narrative on a belief system that males were not sexually abused, and that males experienced rape trauma differently than women."
Kim Kardashian's visit to the inmates highlights her continuous efforts to spread awareness about injustice and how it affects individuals. The reality TV star mainly discussed Greenspace, a program aimed at improving prison yards and ultimately helping prisoners make positive changes in their lives.
Per Variety, Kardashian shed light on the Menendez brothers' case during a discussion with cast member Chloë Sevigny. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star said:
"I grew up right down the street from the house that all happened... My dad drove me by the house and told me the story"
Kardashian added:
"And he had been in the house. Since the boys are still alive, if they tried to connect with you, would you be open to it?"
Kim Kardashian has collaborated with Ryan Murphy on various projects and their latest one includes the upcoming Hulu legal drama, All's Fair. Featuring a strong cast, All's Fair focuses on a law firm dominated by females.
