The duo received standing ovations from all four judges: Sofia Vergara, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell. The talent show host Terry Crews was also amazed after witnessing such a brilliant performance from the dog and its partner.
After the duo's final performance on America's Got Talent Season 19, one of the judges, Sofia Vergara, said,
"Roni, just give it to me. I'll give you the million dollars. You can come with me too. Just give him to me, I beg you."
Roni Sagi and her dog Rhythm on AGT 2024 Final: Details explored
AGT 2024 Final performance episode aired on September 17, 2024. One of the finalist performing pairs was Roni Sagi and Rhythm, her dog. The duo danced gratefully to Alessia Cara's famous song "Scars To Your Beautiful" and won everyone's hearts.
After their performance, the host, Terry Crews, asked judge Simon Cowell whether that was a "real dog" because he couldn't believe it. Simon replied that,
"Terry, no. I mean, come on. That was, I swear that was, in my opinion, that was perfection. Really genuinely, it was. You know, we've done this, I’ve been doing this a long time, along with the others here, but, I've never seen an act like this, as good as this, really. The only - - We have a big problem."
He continued,
"Now, every time we see a dog come on this stage, we're just going to go, 'Yeah, they're not as good as….' Because, seriously, how do you top that? That was unbelievable. I was watching every kid in the audience and they were like (he mimics an amazed face)."
Next was judge Heidi Klum, who said that Rhythm was cute. She loved Rhythm's "little paw steps" and his dancing to the beat alongside his human partner, Roni Sagi.
Terry Crews then asked Sophia Vergara if she wanted the dog Rhythm. It is because he knows Sophia likes dogs. Sophia teased that she would give a million dollars to Roni Sagi for her dog, Rhythm. The judge said that Roni could come along with her dog.
"You know, people come up to me because I think it's magic that you're queuing and everything. You have no clickers in your hand. That dog is actually dancing. The big decision America's going to have for the million dollars is do I vote for people or puppies," shared judge Howie Mandel.
After the AGT 2024 judge's reviews, the host asked Roni, "What did that performance mean to her?" She shared that when many people look in the mirror, they "feel" like they're "missing something." For Roni, "self-love" came after she discovered dogs.
