Catherine Richards from Netflix's popular dating reality show Love is Blind UK recently appeared on a podcast with Melissa Nathoo on September 4, 2024. During the podcast episode, the Love is Blind UK star opened up about many things that happened on and after the show ended.
While discussing her connection with her former fiance, Freddie, Catherine also shared her current relationship status and how she started dating Jake Singleton-Hill. Fans must remember how Catherine's heart broke when Freddie refused to get married in the Love is Blind UK's "wedding" phase.
Shedding light on her connection with former co-star Jake Singleton-Hill, Catherine shared that she has been in a "better position" since four to five weeks ago.
"Jake has been the biggest support. Yeah, but it’s hard for him. He’s sitting, you know. Yesterday was a really bad day for me, and you have your good days, and you have your bad days, and he’s having to come home from his, say, like, normal job, and then I’m sat there, and he knows I’ve been reading comments, or I’ve seen some things, and he’s trying to support me to the best he can, but it’s tough."

Recently, during the On Demand Entertainment podcast episode with host Melissa Nathoo, Catherine revealed many things that have happened since the experiment ended and how life has been.
Catherine's connection with her former fiance, Freddie, ended on the day of their wedding, and after some time, she came across the profile of former co-star Jake.
"I think people think that Jake was waiting for me at the end of the altar, like this is, this is what I’ve been reading like he was there like waiting. (Laughs) No, so, obviously, I didn’t know what Jake looked like at all."
As Catherine revealed, after the wedding, she went back home, and two weeks later, after things "ended" with Freddie, she went with her parents for breakfast. While scrolling, Jake's profile came up.
At first, Jake didn't know who Catherine was, and he was under the impression that she was married to Freddie, as shown on Netflix, Catherine revealed on the podcast,
"I was like, "It’s Cat," and he was like, "Wait, Cat from the pods?" and he was like, first he was like, "Why didn’t you rank me higher?" like "Why didn’t I see you again?" I was like, "Um…" and we literally spoke on the phone for about five hours ‘cuz he was like, "Are you not married?" and then, we were speaking for five weeks, and then I saw him for the first time and then that’s been it, but we spoke as friends for five weeks."
The podcast also revealed that since people know about her and Jake dating, she has been told, "You are with the guy with the dog."
