Selling The City Season 1 has set the bar high with its chic fashion, opulent listings, and super-competitive Douglas Elliman realtors. Along with professional drama, the fans could expect a ton of personal conflicts, confrontations, and conversations that will rule the debut season.

The very first episode gave the viewers a glimpse of the tension that lingered between the Douglas Elliman realtors.

Episode 1 witnessed a flattering lunch at a gorgeous place hosted by one of the realtors, Jade. However, a few agents were put off the invitation list, making it a topic of discussion. Jade hosted a lunch to celebrate her deal with Steve, who was joined by his Wife. Jade invited Eleonora, Justin, and Taylor to participate in the celebration.

Gisselle, Jordyn, and Abigail were "booted off" from the lunch and discussed the matter over "tequila and goldfish." Abigail initiated the conversation by quipping that "just because we got booted doesn't mean we can't have fun." The other two ladies felt that it was "weird" too to not invite them. Abigail then mentioned:

"I thought I was the only one that got booted from the lunch. I know Jade doesn't like me. Like, everyone tells me that she says things about me."

Selling The City star Gisselle continued the conversation by asking, "What has she said about?" to which Abigail replied:

"She told Eleonora, that she thinks I am thirsty."

"That's why she is mad"- Selling The City star Gisselle believes Jade is jealous of Eleonora's team

Selling The City stars Gisselle, Jordyn, and Abigail were left out of the lunch party hosted by Jade. However, the ladies decided to have their own little fun time as the "boss" was not around. Over the drinks, the ladies chimed in about Jade having an "insecure" side to her, especially having such a close friend in the business who has made big in the business.

Jade and Eleonora have been friends for over a decade, and their different personalities have led to clashes at times. When the three realtors were not deliberately called for the luncheon, they considered it a personal move rather than a professional one. Abigail mentioned that she knew that Jade didn't like her, so she expected not to be invited to the party.

Gisselle added that she only cared about Eleonora's opinion.

"I cant wait to be putting money in Eleonora's pocket. And then Jade is just sitting there like...That's why she is mad. She has to do all the work herself. Eleonora has a team," shared Gisselle.

Selling The City premiered on January 3, 2025, on Netflix.
