Shark Tank's Mr. Wonderful is obliged to his mother for not sponsoring any more cheques for him after his graduation. Kevin O'Leary's mother, Georgette, has been a great influence on him as she ran a small clothing business, which made O'Leary pick up some entrepreneurial skills early on.

Georgette was also a pro-investor who made sure to invest a part of her monthly paychecks. Kevin O'Leary imbibed this financial prudence since childhood, and when at his graduation, his mother told him:

"I've got great news. I'm coming to the graduation but I also have some other news no more cheques."

Kevin thought he was doomed. But, years later, during a podcast with Logan Paul, posted on his official YouTube Channel on July 6, 2024, he revealed that it helped him to find a way for himself that worked miraculously for him. He said:

" I thought, I mean because I really had no job or anything, and I had a tough couple of years. I couldn't even pay the rent but it worked out and I got motivated and you know obviously I'm pretty happy about the outcome."

Here are the three tips that Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary vouches for "achieving greatness"

Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary has unveiled three tips that changed his life and have the potential to impact anyone who wants to control their destiny. His mantra for greatness. The reason for listing these specific tips was that that advice was transformative.

Shark Tank investor borrowed the first tip from her mother. He believed that providing for your kids is important, but one must put them through the severity of life, as said - "a free ride and they never have to take any risk."

The second life-changing advice lent by O'leary was to never undermine the power of experience and intuition. He learned that during his MBA days and added:

"Experience is distilled to intuition. I can sit in a room with somebody for 15 minutes and know if I've got a winner or not, and 99% of the time I'm right."

The third and last piece of advice rendered by the Shark Tank judge was a contribution from his stepfather. When Kevin decided to pursue photography as a career after school, his stepfather remarked, "You would starve to death." In all good conscience, Kevin explained that he wanted him to complete his studies and then look out for options once he was mature enough.
