The latest 33rd season of ABC's Dancing With the Stars released its second episode on September 24, 2024. The recently released episode featured a dual elimination. It happened after the first episode of the dance reality show did not feature an elimination.

The eliminated contestants included Tori Spelling with her pro partner Pasha Pashkov and Anna Delvey with her pro partner Ezra Sosa. After her elimination, Anna said she would take away "nothing" from her time on DWTS.

After learning about Anna Delvey's comments, one of the Dancing With the Stars judges, Carrie Ann Inaba, shared her opinion in her recent Entertainment Weekly interview on September 25, 2024.

"We all put in the effort to give her a fair opportunity. But I don't think she could see that and it's a shame. A little gratitude could have changed the narrative."

Dancing With the Stars: Judge Carrie Ann shares her thoughts about Anna Delvey's "remarks"

The popular ABC dance competition show Dancing With the Stars saw dual elimination on its second episode. After her elimination, one of the dancers on the show, Anna Delvey, shared her opinion. DWTS co-host Julianne Hough asked Anna about her time on the show. Anna responded that she was taking away "nothing."

"Nothing," said Anna Delvey.

Regarding her comment, Judge Carrie Ann Inaba called it "dismissive."

In her 25th September 2024 interview, Carrie Ann shared that the first eliminations "always" bring mixed emotions. Talking about Anna Delvey, she shared that she was "taken aback" by Anna's comments.

"That was dismissive not only of the opportunity she was given, of her wonderful and supportive partner Ezra in his debut season, but also of all of us who work on the show - from the dancers to behind the scenes to the creative team."

During the show's premiere, Carrie told the viewers about giving Anna a chance. Referring to whether the audience gave Anna a chance or not, the DWTS judge shared,

"Our fans are passionate and engaged, and they vote for who they want to win the Mirrorball trophy. But I'd like to point out something important. Our fans don't vote people off. That is not our format. Unlike Survivor, we don't vote people off. Our fans vote for who they want to win."

Further in her interview, Carrie Ann talked about The Bachelorette star Jenn Tran, also one of the dancers on DWTS. Despite not being a "trained dancer," Jenn has a "spark," she said.

Fans can stream the upcoming Dancing With the Stars Season 33 Episode 3 on ABC on October 1, 2024.
