"My biggest fear is not being able to get pregnant. That's why I don't want anyone to know. I'm surprised I'm doing this (on the show) because it's very private, and it'd be such a huge letdown. It's a lot," shared Sammi Giancola.

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Sammi Giancola opens up about IVF treatment: Details explored

In the recently released Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 7 episode, Sammy "Sweetheart" Giancola opened up about her "secret." She got tears in her eyes while opening up about her IVF treatments.

"Nobody knows what I've been going through. It's really just very scary."

Talking about the secrecy behind it was because Sammi didn't want to "raise" her expectations. So, she didn't want to be disappointed if things didn't work out. She has also explained how the process has been exhausting for her. She shared how she keeps having "mood swings, headaches, and depression."

For viewers who are unaware, Sammi and Jersey are not married. They announced their engagement in April 2024.

Sammi and her boyfriend Justin May have been trying to become parents via in vitro fertilization, i.e., IVF. Later in the episode, Sammi could also be seen injecting the hormone therapy injections, which were for the IVF treatment. She is suffering from endometriosis, which causes scar tissue growth in the uterus. It can cause difficulties during the pregnancy.

Referring to her age and how she wants to become a mother, the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star shared,

"I'm getting older, 37 next month, and every year you get older your eggs diminish — so for me I just want to do what we have to do now before it's too late with having children. I come from a very large Italian family. My sister has four kids, my other sister has one kid."

Sammi dreams of having kids who also grow up alongside their "cousins" and be "close."
