Shark Tank investor and billionaire Mark Cuban recently attended the Principles First convention in Washington, D.C, which is being held from Friday, February 21, to Sunday, February 23.

To put things in perspective for our readers, the Principles First convention is an annual summit held to strengthen the "voices in defense of classical liberalism and principled, common-sense solutions to America’s problems," as the official website describes. Mark Cuban joined in as one of the panelists and presented his views on the same.

During the convention, the Dallas Mavericks owner was asked about probable plans for running in the 2028 U.S. Presidential elections. For those unversed, Mark Cuban acted as a surrogate for Kamala Harris during the 2024 U.S. presidential elections.

Mark Cuban had a straightforward reply, and denying any such political stint, he remarked:

"Hell no. It’s not going to happen. Okay, if y’all write in and I don’t have [a campaign]. No, I don’t want to be President. I’d rather f**k up health care.”

Praising the current U.S. President Donald Trump, the Shark Tank mentor Mark Cuban suggested that the Democrats should learn how to sell their ideas to the American population from Trump.

Shark Tank investor Mark Cuban takes a dig at Donald Trump for not executing the policies well

Shark Tank investor Mark Cuban does not shy away from putting his political views across the people and owns up to his statements with adequate explanations. While attending the recent Principles First convention, Mark Cuban talked about the upcoming 2028 elections, the Democrats' strategy, and Donald Trump's working approach.

When hailing Donald Trump for his ability to put across his ideas in front of the American population, he also called out his execution skills. He quipped about the same and said:

"Right now, he’s still in the salesmanship stage, and I think now people are starting to ask, alright, it’s great to sell it now, can you execute on it?”

The Shark Tank mentor also pointed out that what Democrats should learn from their 2024 election experience is to be less "reflexive" towards Donald Trump's ideas and working style.

Adding to his point about Trump being a great salesman but poor at execution, he said:

"Donald Trump puts PR over policy. He doesn’t want to govern. He wants to sell."

Mark Cuban features as one of the lead investors on Shark Tank Season 16.
