Netflix's popular experiment, The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On's third season, premiered on December 4, 2024. Initially, the platform aired the first five episodes, followed by the next three on December 11, 2024.

The second batch of episodes, particularly the eighth episode, featured four couples and their journey. The couples were Zaina and J.R., Aria and Scotty, Mariah and Caleb, and Sandy and Nick.

In the eighth episode, show stars Nick and Sandy discussed the latter's trial marriage period. It was with fellow cast member J.R. They talked about changes in their relationship since the trial marriage.

Nick opened up and shared:

"It's hard because I do feel like I'm being asked to change, and I am changing. I know there's things that are happening rapidly that are like, "Whoa!" But it's also like, I know that you're my person, and I've known that from the start."

He added:

"And that's never been more clear than through this experience. I keep falling more and more in love with you and that's - - It's challenging because I've never felt this way."

The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On: Nick and Sandy went on his "perfect date"

The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On's eighth episode featured Nick and Sandy going out. It was Nick's idea to go on his "perfect date" idea with his "favorite setting." Their date had a picturesque view of the sunset over the water, which the couple enjoyed.

While enjoying the views and dinner, The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On cast members talked about various things.

"I know you're not the biggest fan of lakes, but it makes me happy. Look at that," said Nick.

While enjoying the view, Sandy mentioned she liked it because he liked it. The male participant shared that he appreciated Sandy liking things that he wanted.

"Even though my needs are very important, I've put them first for a very long time. For me to show up for you, and you have that, you know, the faith and the trust that I got you. Like, some of the behavior needs to shift," shared Nick.

He further talked about how he thought somebody would accept him for "those things," and things would work out.

However, later, Nick realized that that was not healthy.

"I'm very grateful that you check me on the stuff that I need to be checked on. I need that. You've bettered my life. You've shined a light on the things that I need to work on in a very loving way," shared Nick.

The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On star Sandy mentioned that even through the hard times, it made her a "better person," and she was learning and growing to "love him."

Nick mentioned that he was falling "more and more" in love with Sandy and that he never felt that way before.
