Recently, Netflix released the latest episodes of the popular reality show Love is Blind UK on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. The dating show’s debut season has been quite famous since some individuals are engaged and are now spending time together. They are all set to get married, which will also be explored during the show's final episodes.
Love is Blind UK episode 5 featured engaged couples; one of them is Catherine, a dental nurse who got engaged to Freddie, a funeral director. The couple discussed their day after meeting fellow engaged couples earlier that day.
Catherine had a private conversation with her former potential connection, Ollie. So, she was worried about how Ollie’s fiance, Demi, must have felt about it. Sharing her thoughts on the situation, Catherine told Freddie:
"I just didn’t wanna make it into, like, a really big thing with Demi. I just feel like, there’s like weird tension. As much as she said, "Yeah, it’s fine," I just feel like…I don’t know. It doesn’t feel right."

During the fifth episode of Love is Blind UK, Freddie asked Catherine how that night went about meeting the other couples.
Catherine found it overwhelming because she had been used to being with Freddie only for the past few days. She felt like they had been "exposed" to a group. She also shared how they were getting used to being in couples since they are engaged now.
Freddie then asked his fiance how her chat with Ollie went. Catherine shared her concerns about Demi because she felt "weird tension." Even though Demi said it was fine, Catherine felt something was wrong.
"It’s not the Demi that I know, and it just makes me sad. Because I don’t want her to be upset. I don’t want her to get into her head, because I care about her way more than I do about his thoughts," shared Katherine.
Freddie shared that he was happy that Catherine got a chance to have a conversation with Ollie. Catherine wanted to know how her fiance felt about the whole situation. Freddie answered that it was not nice if he looked over, and he saw her laughing, then:
"In my mind, I’m gonna be thinking, “Oh, what are they talking about?” Yeah, obviously, that’s just natural, but, I feel secure with us."
Freddie added that he was all for her and truly believed in his heart that she was also there for him. So, he couldn’t be happier. Hearing such thoughts from her fiance, Katherine felt happy while he comforted her.
