Love Is Blind: Argentina released new episodes on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, on Netflix. The couples transitioned from Tulum to the real world in the upcoming episodes. The engaged couples went through meeting families and friends while navigating the ups and downs of their relationship.
While the couples were struggling to hold their relationship together in the outside world, one couple, Tom and Florfi decided that marriage was not an option for them and left the experiment in episode 8.
Other couples faced their issues, ranging from getting physically compatible to cohabiting in peace. Santiago and Emily who bonded over their shared belief system were the first to get engaged in the pods.
The couple had an interesting journey as Santiago approached Emily, and told her that he had a dream about a girl whose name was Emily. The coincidence made them believe in "soulmates" and the couple got their names carved in the rings as the show progressed.
However, as episode 8 revealed, the couple got into a heated argument, where Emily felt distressed by Santiago's temper issues, and told the cameras that:
"The way he is speaking to me is incredibly hurtful, and that's not something I want in my life."

In episode 8 of Love Is Blind: Argentina, Santiago and Emily conflicted over a "joke", which appeared hurtful and mean to Santiago while Emily thought it was stupid to fight over such a thing.
As the camera panned out to the next morning, Emily mentioned that it was a rough day for her as the couple had misunderstandings and fights.
As they sat to discuss it, Emily mentioned that Santiago's behavior was hurtful, while Santiago believed that Emily always turned their disagreements into how he hurt her. Emily hinted at Santiago's temper issues and mentioned she compromises when it comes to dealing with it.
Santiago in response to it said:
"At the moment, I run my mouth, and it's not good. I start saying hurtful things that I don't mean. But that's not the point. How do we get to that point, when I snap or say mean things to you?"
Love Is Blind: Argentina star Santiago expressed during a confessional that the couple struggled to reach a middle ground in such disagreements, and Emily always felt that she was right.
