Love Is Blind Germany debuted on Netflix this year in January and marked one more successful international franchise of the show. The series follows a group of single people who wish to participate in this social experiment of finding partners created by Chris Coelen.

The series ends up witnessing three couples walking down the aisle in the finale, and Medina and Sally are one of them. The couple bonded over a Bible verse, "I can do all things" in the pods which they considered a "sign" from the heavens. Their commitment and faith in forming a lasting bond helped them to navigate tricky situations in the course of their relationship.

However, when the day of the wedding arrived, the couple decided to say "No" because they wanted to give each other "a fighting chance" outside of the experiment. Sally was not ready for the wedding then and Medina admitted that she was right. Medina supported her decision and remarked that it was "not the end of us".

When the couple arrived for the reunion of Love Is Blind Germany, the host could not resist but ask Medina what he would have said if asked about his choice first at the altar. Medina stated:

"The whole time, my head said no, you have only known this woman for six months. I can't marry her. But the heart is like, it fits, we should get married. So, I was torn. We held hands at one point and looked at each other, and were just like...I wrote "Yes?" I would've said yes."

Love Is Blind Germany star Sally shares her reaction to "What if Medina would have said yes at the altar"

Sally and Medina joined the pod squad and the hosts during the Love Is Blind Germany reunion. The ex-couple shared all the lovely moments from the pods and their wedding day and shared how they felt standing at the altar.

Medina opened up about the wedding day and expressed that if he had been the first one to get asked the question, he would have said yes to the wedding. The hosts then turned to Sally, to know her response on the same. Sally promptly replied, "I don't know". She took her time to explain her views and added:

"But in the moment, I really wanted to say yes. But I didn't. If Medina had said yes, I probably would have said yes too."

The hosts of Love Is Blind Germany were thrilled to know Sally's response and read a few comments from the fans. The fans' comments presented a willingness to see the couple together.

Love Is Blind Germany released the Reunion episode on January 19, 2025, on Netflix.
