Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga recently appeared on In the Twot Seat podcast on August 22, 2024, co-hosted by Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge. While on the podcast, the RHONJ star shed some light on a recent feud with fellow housewife Teresa Giudice.
Since the beginning, Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice have had issues that continued until the most recent season. However, since the show’s thirteenth season, there have been many intense situations between Teresa and her husband, Luis Ruelas, and Melissa and her husband, Joe Gorga—who also happens to be Teresa’s brother.
During Melissa’s podcast appearance, she shared how the conflict was from both sides.
"I’m not saying I’m an angel. But I think that I’ve…taken a lot, I’ve forgiven a lot, I’ve moved forward with a lot. I’ll just say it like that," shared Melissa.

Fans following RHONJ must know that Teresa has been part of the franchise since the debut season. Later, Melissa, after marrying Joe Gorga (Teresa’s brother), joined Real Housewives of New Jersey in the third season. Since the beginning, Melissa and Teresa’s relationship has not been on good terms.
During the RHONJ season 14, they refused to talk to each other, let alone filming together on the Bravo show. Over the years, fans have witnessed many heated arguments and fights on camera between them.
The root of their issues might be related to when Melissa joined the cast of the RHONJ universe, which, according to Teresa, she joined behind her back. According to Teresa, Melissa reportedly approached Bravo to cast her, but she denied this. Since then, they have not been on good terms despite being family.
During Melissa’s recent appearance on the August 22, 2024, episode of the In the Twot Seat podcast, host Teddi Mellencamp asked whether the Gorga family would be making up with Teresa if Luis was not with her.
"I think there was a lot of problems before him as well," shared Melissa.
She also shared that the conflict was not from one side but from both sides. However, she also added that she has forgiven "a lot."
"And I got to the point that when you’re now calling my husband over for a chat without me, and you’re sitting there with your new like, fiancé, and you’re telling him that I’m some bad wife and basically lying to him about cheating rumors … I have checked out of the building," shared the RHONJ star.
By the end of Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13, Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice have officially severed any remaining ties with each other.
