In the latest episode of Love Island: All Stars Season 2, the Islanders witnessed a shocking exit, leaving most of them in tears. Scott Thomas decided to leave the villa, citing that he was unable to forge the bond he was looking for with his partner Tina Stinnes, leaving her shattered.

Scott Thomas appeared in Season 2 of Love Island, where he instantly hit it off with Katty McDermott. The couple gained quite a popularity in the villa and outside the world, too. After years, Scott Thomas returned to the villa as one of the main cast members and married bombshell Tina Stinnes.

Scott and Tina were both featured in a previous season of Love Island and were coupled when Tina arrived as a "bombshell." However, Scott had not been feeling the "spark" in her connection, and they even had a "blip," as Tina revealed to Omar Nyame in one of the episodes. Keeping his doubts in mind, Scott got everyone together near the firepit and announced he had decided to leave.

He said:

"I don’t want this to be sad because I’ve had the best time ever, but I’ve made the decision to leave and I think it’s the right time. I don’t want everyone to be sad, I’m in a good place about it.”

Why did Scott Thomas decide to leave Love Island: All Stars Season 2 in the middle of the show?

Love Island: All Stars fame Scott Thomas left the villa members and Tina Stinnes in distress when he announced he was quitting the show. During the Sunday night episode, Scott had a confrontation with Tina and revealed that she "deserved" someone who was fully there.

Scott added,

"Something is holding me back from going to the next level…"

He also shared his doubts with villa member Luca Bish and said:

"I can’t force connections, do you know what I mean?"

This revelation attracted quite a row between Love Island: All Stars fame Elma Pazar and Scott, as the former claimed she saved Tina instead of Kaz so that Scott could explore his connection with her. Elma was furious at Scott's decision and asked him to go back home.

Later, Scott revealed to Love Island: All Stars host Maya Jama that his first experience on Love Island had him high expectations, but he did not see the "firework" between him and Tina. He remarked:

"I think I took it for granted the first time round. To find someone you’ve got that—I call it fireworks. I had a connection with Tina, but it wasn’t fireworks, and yeah, it feels like the right decision.”

Love Island: All Stars Season 2 airs on ITV2 and ITVX.
