Before Sandy's mother arrived, she asked Nick if he was nervous "at all." Nick responded that he loved her mother and wasn't nervous but excited.

Soon, Sandy's mother, Lori, and her sister, Lizzie, joined The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On couple. Her mother initiated the conversation and asked how things were between Sandy and Nick.

"It's good. Obviously, when you guys were here, I was with J.R., who was my trial husband for the first half of this. Nick had paired up with this other girl, Vanessa, and her and her man left. And it was just - - Threw off the whole thing, because he didn't have that, which obviously made him go a little cray-cray," Sandy shared.

Hearing about Sandy's trial marriage with J.R., a sensitive topic between the two, Nick jumped into the conversation.

He mentioned that his connection with his trial marriage partner was not similar to what Sandy had with J.R. Nick continued and shared that J.R. was "obviously a very attractive guy" and called him "the player type."

"Obviously, they were flirty, and in front of other people, like very flirtatious. And my end was like, Sandy essentially had her cake and eating it too, because she got to be with somebody she enjoyed, and she knew I was alone, so there was not risk to her," shared Nick.

Sandy said that she didn't want him to be "alone." She disagreed with Nick's "cake" remark.

"Because what I actually wanted...I feel like I missed out on a big part of this experience with seeing him with somebody else, and how that makes me feel. Especially, he's the one that gave me the ultimatum," shared Sandy.

Listening to Sandy, her mother asked Nick what was happening with him. He mentioned that he had never been "this in love" with anyone and was "scared."
