The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On is back with another season and the first five episodes went live on Netflix on December 4, 2024. 6 couples struggling through their relationships entered the show after someone set an ultimatum for the other.
One of the couples that entered the show was Dave and Vanessa. The couple signed up for the show after Vanessa gave him the ultimatum. Vanessa wants to get married and wishes to be someone who is 100% sure about her. However, Dave doesn't seem to be so sure after dating her for almost 3 years.
In episode 3, Dave seemingly regretted coming to the show, and the thought of Vanessa pairing with Nick made it worse. Eventually, Vanessa, Dave, Chanel, and Micah decide to leave the experiment.

Is Dave leaving The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On Season 3
The show just got dropped and there is already some talk about contestants regretting their decisions to enter the show. In episode 3, Vanessa picked Nick (one of the two guys who issued an ultimatum to their partners) for her trial marriage.
Seeing this, Dave seems not too happy with the decision to enter The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On,
"Vanessa has feelings for somebody who's ready to get married. That could be really terrible for our relationship. It feels like maybe I made a mistake in coming here."
Even though Dave had picked Chanel as his trial spouse, he appears upset with Vanessa choosing Nick.
Later, in the episode, when the couples spend their first nights together in their new houses, Dave even talks about how he was thinking of leaving the show earlier to his now partner, Chanel, when she asks him about his night,
"This is just so weird. I just can't get over it. I thought about leaving the whole experience."
Chanel also confesses about the times when she also wanted to leave the show. As they talked about their emotions for their original partners being coupled with other people, Dave says:
"If you didn't feel that way, then something's wrong with you."
Chanel entered the show with Micah after he issued an ultimatum. While making the choice, she decides to spend the first three weeks with Dave. However, she might need some more time to process the situation as she leaves Dave in the middle of the night and goes for a walk to process everything.
