Dancing With the Stars' latest season aired its debut episode on ABC on September 17, 2024. Among many celebrity and Olympian contestants, one of the participants is Anna Delvey. She is accompanied by her pro dancing partner, Ezra Sosa.

During Ezraā€™s recent interview on Lightweights Podcast with Joe Vulpis, the pro dancer shared many things. Ezra Sosa, 23, opened up about how training with his dancing partner Delvey has been going so far. He also talked about how she refuses to "smile."

"It was hard for me at first to get her to get into it. Like, to get into four hour rehearsals. I don't think that she knew what she got herself into, if I'm being fully transparent," shared Ezra.

The September 17 episode of Lightweights Podcast with Joe Vulpis featured Ezra Sosa from Dancing With the Stars Season 33. The dancing show is the first time Ezra has partnered up and has been going through training with Anna Delvey.

Fans might know about Anna Delvey and how she doesn't smile.

"It's so hard. I'm like, 'Can you smile for me?' She goes, 'No.'ā€¦.ā€¦ She goes, 'I'll just do it the night of.'"

As the Dancing With the Stars contestant has such serious "facial expressions," Ezra was worried about their performances. The duo were assigned "upbeat" styles for the show's first two weeks. However, Ezra managed to get a different dancing style for their third week's performance.

"Nothing happy, please! Let's give her something moody 'cause she has a really good, like, resting bi*** face. I was like, 'We need to really start tapping into that,' because getting her to smile takes a lot," shared Ezra Sosa.

Regarding the premiere day performance, Ezra and Anna were the last couple to perform on the show. Their performance style was cha-cha, which they performed on "Espresso" by Sabrina Carpenter.

For the debut performance, they received 18 out of 30 scores. With this score, they ended up in the middle of the scoreboard. Additionally, Anna could be seen dancing on the show with her "sparkly" ankle monitor.

For fans who might not already know, Anna Delvey was arrested in 2017 for multiple counts of grand larceny. She was released in 2021 and was under house arrest for almost a year.

Additionally, she gained popularity after being featured on one of the New York magazine's profiles. Her story was also featured on the streaming platform Netflix's series Inventing Anna (2022). It is an adaptation of Anna's life and surrounding events.

Fans can stream Dancing With the Stars Season 33's latest episodes on ABC. From the next day, viewers can enjoy episodes on Hulu and Disney+.
