Selling Sunset Season 8 released all eleven episodes of the real-estate show on September 6, 2024. Popular Netflix series features leading real estate agents working at The Oppenheim Group and going through major property listings in Los Angeles.
The eighth season's second episode, Who Wears the Pants?, featured the latest broker's open at the recently listed Manhattan Beach property. All the agents from the O group were joined by many guests and leading listing agents.
While the guests were exploring the property, the O group agents, with their bosses, Brett and Jason Oppenheim, discussed that their newly joined agent, Alanna Gold, owns a town. They all asked Alanna how much her town costs. Bre was surprised by this conversation about Alanna owning a town.
"Her town? What just happened? What is happening right now? I didn't know you could buy a town. I’m dead," shared Bre.

The second episode of Selling Sunset Season 8 featured an important event: a broker open, which Jason, Mary Fitzgerald, and Chelsea Lazkani organized.
Alanna Gold, the newly joined cast member, was exploring the property while meeting new people and fellow agents. She also met Bre Tiesi for the first time and hit it off since their first meeting.
While fellow cast members discussed how Alanna has been at the office, they all shared that she has a "good vibe" and a "quiet confidence."
Jason, Brett, Chrishell Stause, and Emma Hernan's conversation then took a turn when Brett mentioned that Alanna owns a town in the desert. Everyone was surprised to learn this.
"She owns, like, some town in the desert. They own, I should say," shared Brett.
Chrishell responded, "What?" while Jason did not understand how she "owns" a town and asked how much it would cost to own a town. Everyone seemed joyous while they continued the conversation in a light tone.
Chrishell mentioned that Jason should know the cost since he has been associated with many prestigious properties and owns a penthouse.
"I don't own a town. Gotta be at least a couple million dollars," shared Jason.
Brett guessed 2.2 million, while Emma suggested that they should ask Alanna. Brett teased that they could have either Jason's penthouse "or three towns," and they all laughed.
While they were all in the backyard having this conversation, they saw Selling Sunset's new agent, Alanna, and Bre chatting on the first-floor balcony. They shouted her name and continued the conversation.
"If I were to buy your town from you today, how much would I have to pay? Be honest. Current market value?" Asked Jason.
Bre responded to this surprising conversation between Selling Sunset cast members: "Her town?"
Alanna said they don't get to know "that," while Jason said he would give her 2.2 right then. She said he couldn't have it because it was "theirs." Jason was willing to lower his pricing to 1.8 and then to 1.7, but Alanna said they were not selling.
When Bre asked what was happening, Alanna shared that she owns a "little Western town" in the desert, Pioneer Town. She also mentioned that she was the town sheriff and laughed. Bre said she was "dead" while they all had this funny conversation.
