The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On Season 3 premiered yesterday on Netflix, bringing fresh drama to the OTT platform. For the first time in the series, 2 couples left the show on the same night after they met each other secretly off camera.

The show welcomed 6 couples struggling through the ultimate question of marriage. However, by the 4th episode of this season, two couples—Micah & Chanel and Dave & Vanessa—decided to abruptly leave their trial marriages in the middle of the night, without even saying goodbye to their trial partners.

After making 'The Choice' for their trial partners, Chanel picked Dave, and they both decided to leave. However, it was Nick (Vanessa's trial husband) and Mariah (Micah's trial wife) who were left alone in their new homes.

From day 1 of their trial marriage, Micah and Mariah were struggling to get comfortable around each other. But they believed that with time, things would become easier.

That didn't turn out to be the case. After secretly meeting his original partner, Chanel, Micah decided to bring the experience to an end for himself. When the 24-year-old star came back from the mall on day 3, both Micah and his stuff were gone.

"I had just come home from the mall, and Micah's not here. His stuff was gone, and the book he lent me was gone, so I'm confused as to why he left and didn't say a word."

She later talked about how she felt it was too early for Micah to leave,

"For it to be only day three into the trial marriage, it didn't feel like there was really any real effort to apply himself."
"I'm just the kind of person where, if I've invested much, I definitely wanna see things through. So I very much am interested in this experience. And now there's nobody there and it's like I really need to lean on myself."

Later, while cooking for herself, The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On star expresses her love for Caleb,

"This trial marriage experience has definitely been really challenging. Knowing that I'm putting my entire relationship on the line is feeling very burdensome in some ways just because I love Caleb so much. I want a future with Caleb."
"Something wasn't quite working on an emotional level, in a way, with our relationship, so I feel like it is possible for Caleb to find a better connection."

She added as she talked about the struggles of her relationship with Caleb.
