Big Brother Season 26, Week 8, saw former housemate Quinn Martin eliminated with a majority of votes against him. The reality show's 27th episode was released on CBS on September 12, 2024.
After his elimination from Big Brother Season 26, former housemate Quinn appeared for an interview with US Magazine, commenting on his bond with Big Brother housemate Rubina Bernabe.
During Quinn's elimination, Rubina, who also voted against him, wanted to give him a "friendship bracelet," which Quinn initially refused because,
"I’ll admit it, I was hurt in the moment, and I'm like, 'Girl, get off me. Get outta here. You are crazy right now if you think I'm gonna accept a gift.' But I heard the disappointment in her voice, of course I had to take it."

Rubina, a Big Brother housemate who wanted to have the "jury vote" from Quinn Martin, tried giving him a "gift." It was a friendship bracelet stating "Jury Duty" on it.
During his interview, Quinn mentioned Rubina and his relationship as,
"Just two ships passing in the night."
He added,
"She (Rubina) was one of my favorite people in the house and someone who I looked to as an older sister. And so it was just like, 'Alright, give me the friendship bracelet. My true feelings washed over me after hearing her disappointment, so I took it. And it ended up being her making fun of me, so I’m the sucker at the end of the day."
Former Big Brother Season 26 housemate shared that it wasn't even "20 minutes" since he was in the process of possibly getting eliminated from the show when Head of Household (HoH) Chelsea Baham named him the "replacement nominee." Rubina then tried to give him the "present," aka the "bracelet."
Shedding some light on his nomination and veto meeting on Big Brother Season 26, Quinn shared that if he could go back in time and "punch" himself in the stomach,
"I would do it and probably do it twice. I would save Joseph and put T'kor Clottey on the block."
Quinn revealed his regret by referring to Kimo and T'kor and how they "prioritized" Rubina over himself. Although he does not regret his decision and "logic" about it,
"Certain types of players who are often overlooked and left out (from) power structures in the flow of the game. And I wanted to align with them (Kimo and T'kor) because I saw so much of myself in them."
However, since Quinn learned that Rubina was their priority and not himself, he regrets that "aspect."
Big Brother Season 26's latest episodes air on CBS on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET.
