Netflix recently released five new episodes of Love is Blind UK, including episodes 5 to 9, on August 14, 2024. These episodes feature engaged individuals spending time together and also meeting their fellow contestants from the show.
All the male participants knew each other, and vice versa for the women, but they were excited to see each other with their better halves. Love is Blind UK is about individuals going on blind dates before choosing a potential love connection. Participants meet their fiance only after getting engaged.
During the sixth episode of the show, Catherine was worried about Demi, who seemed "quiet" after she and Demi's fiance, Ollie, had a private chat in the previous episode. It was about how Catherine and Ollie ended things earlier on the show. Regarding this, Catherine wanted to chat with Demi to resolve their issue.
While doing the shots and cheering, Demi revealed to Catherine that:
"I am happy."
Love is Blind UK episode 6: How did Catherine and Demi get over the clash?
Catherine and Ollie (Demi’s fiancee) talked about how he told everyone that he had ended things with Catherine. However, what actually happened was that Catherine told him to explore his connection with Demi, and Catherine wanted to explore her connection with Freddie.
To resolve this, Catherine wanted to have a conversation with Ollie, which they did in Love is Blind UK episode 5. After that, Catherine was under the impression that Demi was not happy about her and Ollie's secretive conversation.
Hence, to clear things up with Demi, the Love is Blind UK star asked her to sit somewhere quiet and have a chat.
"It’s a long-awaited one (chat) because I just feel… You wanted to wait in my time," shared Demi.
Demi thanked her and added that she is an overthinker and felt triggered the other day (when Catherine had a private chat with Ollie).
Catherine shared that if she had feelings for Ollie, she could not "put up this act." She also shared that she walked out of the pod, thinking she would be marrying Freddie.
"I just want you to know I’ve cared about you so much. Like, it’s been hurting me. Because you’ve not been yourself," shared Catherine.
Catherine also shared that even though Freddie doesn’t know Demi well, he has asked, 'Why is Demi really quiet?'
Demi then revealed that it was not because of Ollie, and shared how much she loved him. Later both the Love is Blind UK stars, Demi and Catherine, cheered by saying:
"The Demi, that was when we first started."
Catherine told Demi that they all want to see her happy, as she used to be on the show during the first phase. This conversation helped resolve their issues, and both cheered with the shots.
