Netflix aired the debut season of Love is Blind UK on August 7, 2024. The dating show features individuals who open up to each other via blind dates and decide to get engaged without physically meeting their partner. The debut season of the UK version was released a week ago and introduced viewers to individuals from different backgrounds.
One of the participants, Nicole, found her potential match in two of the individuals, Sam and Benaiah. She chose Sam to move forward, and the duo engaged on Love is Blind UK. However, they didn’t appear in the next phase of the show since they parted ways mid-show.
On August 11, 2024, Sam Klein recently shared some insights through his Instagram stories. He answered several questions about his and Nicole’s journey and being labeled as “the villain” on the show.
When one of his fans asked Sam if he was annoyed after being said to be “not genuine” on Love is Blind UK. Sam answered:
"I guess it was TV gold."

On Sunday, August 11, 2024, Sam posted a series of stories on Instagram, allowing his followers to ask him questions. One of his followers asked Sam, “Was your love for Nicole really sincere?”
Sam’s response was:
"The show was intense and high-pressure, and the editing hasn’t really worked in my favor. But my connection with Nicole in the pods was genuine, and she’s an amazing person."
Another user asked Sam that they wanted to “dislike” Sam, but they “liked” him plenty.
"I guess someone has to play the villain," Sam replied.
One more user questions Sam about how he felt when the show perceived him as "not genuine." Sam responded that he guessed it was "TV gold."
Sharing more about his time on the Netflix show, Sam opened up and shared with his followers that the most difficult part of the show was opening up. He added that "the toughest" part was "learning to open up" about his past.
Love is Blind UK star mentioned that he had a close bond with the male participants from the show, despite the clash that happened with Benaiah when it came to Nicole.
"It’s a very unique experience when you have 15 men opening up about their feelings with each other, and it makes you realize we all have our own insecurities and its OK to talk," shared Sam.

Since the participants get to explore various blind dates in the beginning, they find several potential connections. In one such instance, Sam Klein, 31, found his potential match, Nicole Stevens, 29, in the social experiment.
However, Nicole found two potential connections. These include Sam and Benaiah, structural landscapers from Preston, England. Nicole agreed to Sam’s proposal, and they got engaged on the show.
Despite being engaged, Sam and Nicole were not seen in the next phase of the reality show as they parted ways mid-show.
