On 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days latest episode, Magda and Joe had a heated argument after Joe disclosed his long-standing friendship with his ex, Jill. Magda, who disapproves of dating friends, expressed her feelings during a volleyball game. Joe, aware of her stance on exes, struggled with hiding this information from her.

He confided in his best friend that their relationship was going well but planned to reveal the truth to Magda soon, hoping she would be understanding.

The couple spent a romantic night, and Joe was happy that they were able to get intimate. However, he was trying to find the right time to tell her about Jill. "I feel horrible. I don't know what that was. I think, maybe she sees it a different way but I don't know and I wish I just told her from the beginning. That was just a bad situation for me."

Magda asked Joe to choose between her and Jill. Magda felt blind-sighted and told the cameras that maybe Joe was not committed enough. She also revealed that her last relationship ended like this only when she found out that her ex-boyfriend was cheating on her with his ex. Joe appeared apologetic and regretted hiding about Jill.

In the preview clip of episode 19, Joe appeared assuring Magda that he was "sorry". He felt scared to lose Magda, but Magda said:

"He can say whatever he wants. But I will never forget."
