Love is Blind UK episode 7 was released on Netflix on August 14, 2024, during the second episode release batch. The seventh episode of the reality show featured engaged couples returning to the UK to spend more time together. In the meantime, couples are supposed to meet their friends and family to share how they met their "fiance/ fiancee" on the social experiment.
One of the engaged couples, Freddie and Catherine, have had some tension between them since Freddie shared about his past, that he cheated on his ex. Even though he added that he regretted it and that one thing did not define him, Catherine has not been the same.
During Love is Blind UK episode 7, the couple went shopping. Catherine was irritated by Freddie’s jokes, among other things. When she shared this with him, he felt otherwise.
"I do feel a bit misunderstood by Catherine sometimes," confessed Freddie.
Love is Blind UK: Tension brewing between Freddie and Catherine
The seventh episode of Love is Blind UK saw engaged couple Freddie, 32, and Catherine, 29, back in the UK living together. The couple went shopping while Catherine was feeling a bit irritated by Freddie.
In the confessional, Freddie shared that, since the retreat, things between him and Cat have "obviously been very tense." He added that he wanted to spend time with her and prove there was nothing to worry about.
When they reached a store, Freddie asked whether Catherine had anything particular to shop for, to which Catherine replied she would "just browse."
While browsing a few items, Freddie suggested various things to Catherine, which she did not like, as she told him to "Stop it."
"Stop. You’re being sarcastic, and you’re winding me up, and you know you are," Catherine told Freddie.
She confessed that she was not holding on to anything from the retreat but felt there was "just tension" for some reason.
"And I am getting irritated easily, yeah. He is always joking, and you know, taking the mick and winding me up. I need him just to be serious because it’s making me feel like his friend, not his fiancee," confessed Catherine.
She then asked Freddie about shopping. Would he want to go with her, or "Would you just let me do it?" Freddie told her he would come with her and sit on the sofa while she would shop as "it's always men sat down" while women do their "thing."
Catherine told him she would feel like she "would be dragging" him around. He joked again and told her she would be doing that, which Catherine did not like.
