90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 7 Episode 3 featured Rayne, who visited Nigeria to see her long-time online partner, Chidi. During the episode, Rayne disagreed about getting a "chicken."
Rayne, Chidi, and his sister Victoria went to the market and reached a chicken shop. When Victoria purchased a chicken, Rayne had reservations about getting a "live bird."
Seeing Rayne feeling this way, Victoria suggested that she sit away from the chicken shop while she went and got it.
"I won't eat it. You're going to have to shove it down your throat yourself. You suck on it's leg, I ain't gonna," said Rayne.
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Rayne went to buy chicken with Chidi and Victoria
The third episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star featured an intense situation involving the couple Rayne and Chidi with the latter's sister Victoria. Rayne didn't want to purchase the live chicken when they went to the market.
Rayne shared in the confession:
"At first, I thought Victoria wanted to show me the chickens 'cause she knows how much I love them. Then I realized that she was doing that; she's actually trying to buy a live bird right in front of me and eat it for dinner."
At the market, she shared that she didn't want "no part of it." Seeing Rayne upset, Chidi suggested buying "the already killed one."
When the shopkeeper was taking the chicken, Rayne said,
"If you kill that, I'm going to become really pretty freaking violent, so that's the one thing you don't want to do. Oh, I don't want to be responsible for that poor little thing."
Chidi's sister Victoria told the shopkeeper to wait and that Rayne didn't want to "kill it." Chidi and his sister urged the shopkeeper to keep the chicken as Rayne didn’t want to "kill an animal." They said they would come back.
After the three left from that shop, 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Rayne said,
"I would rather starve. I will not have that on my hand."
Seeing Rayne's reaction, Victoria asked Rayne whether she ate chicken. Rayne nodded, "Oh, yeah."
"So how do you eat chicken without killing it?" asked Victoria.
Rayne replied,
"No, I eat it. I eat it, but I ain't going to have no part of that, like, I know, I get it from the market and I understand that but like when it comes to me personally I'm not going to have that decision."
In the confession, Rayne, a chicken farmer, revealed that Victoria knew "my chickens are like family members."
"I eat chicken, but I didn't want to eat that chicken because I felt so bad for the situation. When the guy got him out he just like, by the legs. No remorse like 'Here you want that one.' But I’m like, if I just saw like some emotion or thought like, 'Goodbye little buddy.' I mean any heart at all you know," confessed Rayne.
Later, Victoria suggested that Rayne sit there and that she get the chicken in the meantime. However, Rayne refused to eat it.
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Chidi's sister Victoria shared in the private confession,
"I was so surprised that someone that eats chicken would get so mad about a chicken being killed."
The incident ended with Victoria apologizing to Rayne while Rayne said, "Let the chicken live."
