"I can't breathe" - Love Is Blind Germany star Tolga shares his feelings about his relationship with Shila

Love Is Blind Germany couples have embarked on a new journey after wrapping up their pod days. During the course of dating through the pods, five couples made the decision to get engaged. The decision did not come easy for some, while others were sure about each other. Tolga and Shila, one of the engaged couples, are surfing their way through Crete Island as they discover more about each other.

Tolga was intently involved with two pod dates, Hannah and Shila. When the day of the declaration came near, he felt like "having a hand around his throat." The metaphor seems to be Tolga's favorite one, as he repeated something similar in episode 4 during the mixer party. The couple evidently appeared to have a completely different notion of how their relationship was going.

Shila cheerfully mentioned that they were a "match," while Tolga had to resort to words like "suffocating" to describe his relationship with Shila. He shared his feelings with fellow Love Is Blind Germany men and said:

"So suffocating, it constantly feels like I have got a hand around my throat. I can't breathe."

After Daniel gave his two cents and told Tolga to make a decision "if it was not working," to which Tolga replied:

"I am supposed to be happy. But I am absolutely not."

In Love Is Blind Germany, episode 4, Tolga cannot hold his disoriented feelings and opens up in front of his fellow men as soon as he meets them. Tolga unabashedly admitted that he was not happy in the relationship with Shila. Early in the episode, Tolga calls his relationship "Toxic," which makes Shila upset, but clearly, Tolga is not trying to sync with her at all, as his demeanor suggests.

Later, in episode 4 of Love Is Blind Germany when asked whom he would like to see in person from the pods, he instantly replies, "Hannah." He seemed quite intrigued when Hanni offered to describe Hannah. As Hanni added words of admiration to describe Hannah, Tolga appeared more and more invested.

He even went forward to ask whether she looked Turkish or not. As Hannah mentioned that she was sad to watch Hannah go, Tolga's face imitated a disappointing emotion, which almost appeared as if he was regretting his decision.

Whether Tolga and Shila would be able to bridge this huge gap between their feelings is tea for another episode to come.
