The Circle star Darian Holt got blocked from the show in episode 9 which was released on September 25 on Netflix, Darian put his fate in the hands of Kevin, his Circle bro', and made him the second influencer.
As Darian stood at the bottom of the rating list, he wanted to choose someone as the influencer who could take the pressure and save him from blocking.
Darian was the disruptor giving him the power to choose any player as the Second influencer. He was torn between Jadhej and Kevin, but ultimately chose Kevin thinking Jadheja would not be able to take the pressure.
Kevin on the other hand convinced Gianna to block Darian out of the game and promised that he would take all the heat for Darian's blocking.
After getting blocked, Darian was stunned and furious, knowing his 'Circle bro' betrayed him. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly on September 25, 2024, Darian shared that he felt horrible about choosing Kevin as the influencer instead of Jadheja and said,
"I did think that he would possibly take out Madelyn. But looking back, horrible decision, [even though] I was looking out for Queen Jadejha in terms of not bringing that extra attention to her."

Darian Holt joined Season 7 of The Circle to sprinkle his social media charm on his fellow players and make some true bonds. However, his journey was cut short, and he got blocked by Kevin and Gianna in episode 9.
Darian had an alliance with Jadheja in the game, and she was his 'Circle wife'. His first instinct was to choose Jadheja as the influencer as he was 100% sure that she would save him.
However, Darian decided to take a risk and trusted Kevin to save him which cost him his elimination from the The Circle.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly on September 25, 2024, Darian shared that he wanted to nominate Jadheja immediately but he got time to think, and it ruined things for him.
He also explained that choosing Jadheja would have added pressure on her and people would have known that he was the disruptor. He went on to say,
"If I did choose her, I was thinking about looking out for her still, because I knew the moment if I would've selected her as an Influencer, automatically they would've known I was a Disruptor. I know she would've saved me, but I feel like it would've been a target on her back."
The Circle star also added that he chose Kevin because he wanted Madelyn out of the game, and he thought Kevin would do that.
