Contestant Brooklyn Rivera was eliminated from Big Brother 26 on Wednesday. The final nominees were housemates Cam and Brooklyn, whereas the latter, with eight votes, was evicted from the show.

After her eviction, Brooklyn appeared for an interview with Entertainment Weekly. When asked why Tucker Des Lauriers nominated her, she said:

"Because he's scared of me. He is scared of someone that's smarter than him. He is scared of someone that has more cojones than him, and that's me. Which is true, he should be! And I am not someone that backs down."

Rivera was nominated by current Head of the Household (HoH) Tucker Des Lauriers, who thought she was the one who headed the Pentagon alliance on the show.

Two more housemates, Quinn Martin and Cam Sullivan-Brown, were nominated along with Brooklyn. But Tucker saved Quinn with Power of Veto because he apparently was a pawn, while Tucker's real target was Brooklyn.

Referring to her elimination, Brooklyn further added:

"He was kind of like a kid that got picked last on the playground and it put a chip on his shoulder, so all he wanted to do from then on out is blow everyone's game up."

The former Big Brother 26 star added that Tucker was a wonderful person, but when it comes to the game, he is playing his own game, unlike anyone else has ever played before.

"There was no way to truly strategize one way. You had to be flexible. And Tucker's not flexible. He just was like, 'Screw it. I'm just going to win when I have to win, and I don't care who I hurt along the way.'"

After Brooklyn’s eviction from the reality show, during her exit interview with show host Julie Chen Moonves, she shared that things went "so wrong, so fast." She added that the only vote that was to save her was from Chelsie, her house "bestie."

"Who says I was running the Pentagon? I can’t even win a competition, Julie!"

The former Big Brother 26 housemate also added that everyone inside the house is under the impression that Tucker is "the Big Bad wolf," but it really is Quinn Martin.

CBS will air the next episode of Big Brother 26 on August 25 at 9:30 PM.
