Demi from the popular Netflix reality show Love is Blind UK Season 1 recently appeared on a podcast called Reality with Will Njobvu on August 27, 2024. Demi, who chose not to get married to her ex-fiance Ollie on the dating show, took to the podcast to share more about her relationship with Ollie since the pods.
The Love is Blind UK star revealed how she and Ollie fell in love "at different stages" during their blind dates on pods and later when they spent time together at the retreat at Corfu, Greece.
"I think he (Ollie) had love for me. I think we fell in love at different stages. I think when we got to the apartment, I think he saw me for me and who all I had to offer, and saw how pure my love was towards him. I think he appreciated me, but I think I fell head over heels in the pods, whereas I think he did. I think he fell for the idea of it,” shared Demi.

During the podcast, she shed light on various topics, including her friendship with Jasmine, falling for Ollie, and how she felt after watching the episodes.
When asked if she still feels emotional while watching the show, Demi responded:
"Yeah. I cried at the ending scene. I cried at my dad getting emotional. I cried at the Bridal fitting. I cried on my wedding day like the wedding scene. It brings back emotions that, you know, that were so raw.
Demi said that she was doing better, and after returning to the "real world," she found herself reminiscing.
Love is Blind UK star also recalled the impulses of self-sabotage she had on the show a few times and how Ollie helped her through it.
Demi mentioned that she had experienced pressure on the show:
"That's where a lot of like, negative thoughts come into my head and I was like really internalizing them, so like you see it in Corfu as well, when I get into that head space, I go into a shell," shared Demi.
Later, they spoke about finding out that Ollie and their fellow participant, Sharlotte, had started dating and how that made her feel.
