Catherine Richards from Love is Blind UK recently appeared on a podcast with Melissa Nathoo on the September 4, 2024 episode. During her appearance, Catherine aka Cat shared insights about her time on Netflix’s social experiment and how things are going between her ex-fiance Freddie.
She discussed many things starting from her current relationship with Freddie, who is no longer talking to her, how she has been handling comments from everyone, and more. She also shared how she and Love is Blind UK former cast member Jake Singleton-Hill started to get to know each other.
When the host, Melissa asked Catherine about her ex-fiance Freddie, the Love is Blind UK star shared,
"We don’t talk. He blocked me straight after the launch. It’s sad because you know I saw Freddie was quite upset at the launch. He gets really overwhelmed in big settings. I’ve known this about him, for the longest of times. And the first person to go up to him and give him a hug was Jake, and he (Freddie) just didn’t want it."

On the September 4, 2024, episode of Melissa Nathoo’s podcast, On Demand Entertainment, her guest was Love is Blind UK star Catherine. During the podcast, Catherine talked about how girls on the show have been very supportive and some of them are still in touch.
Catherine said that she had been going through therapy since before, regarding her adoption. However, she described that sharing things with fellow female participants was a “whole new therapy” since the show ended.
"So yeah, to be honest again, watching the show and I’ve spoken to the girls who have massive support and they’ve kind of made everything very black and white for me. And I’m like right okay. I can see how that’s like that or so yeah. So yeah, the whole thing in itself has been a therapy lesson."
When the host asked about who is still in touch with Catherine, the Love is Blind UK star shared that she and Sabrina have been quite close. She added that additional cast members including Maria and Jasmine are also in touch with her and share a close bond.
Talking more about Freddie, the host asked Catherine, what kind of terms she and Freddie have been since the show ended.
"Throughout the whole launch, I just said that “You’re my priority tonight, like, Jake’s fine. He’s with the boys like, I want to focus on you to make sure you’re okay. So I knew he doesn’t like this big environment. So yeah, he, I don’t know, he just blocked me, and that’s pretty much been it," shared Catherine.
The podcast also featured Catherine sharing about how she has been able to handle various types of comments throughout social media, and how Jake has supported her since the show ended.
