HBO has given the go-ahead for a new comedy starring actress Rachel Sennott (known for Shiva Baby and Bottoms) who will also serve as both writer and executive producer.
The show is about a group of tightly-knit friends who come back together after being apart for some time. They explore their new relationships, ambitions, personal growth, and changes in their dynamics.
The show's pilot was planned back in March. Joining Rachel Sennott as executive producers are Emma Barrie, Aida Rodgers, and Lorene Scafaria, who is also directing the pilot.

Rachel Sennott isn’t new to the TV Sitcom world as this is her second time attempting a TV sitcom after Call Your Mother with Kyra Sedgwick on ABC in 2021 which was 13 episodes long.
The cast of the untitled comedy includes Jordan Firstman (Rotting in the Sun, Dave), Miles Robbins (Blockers, Old Dads), Odessa A'zion (Sitting in Bars with Cake, Grand Army), and True Whitaker (Godfather of Harlem).
“I’m so grateful to Amy and HBO for the opportunity to make this show and the wonderful team that has been a part of creating it,” “And I’m going to come up with a title soon I promise!” she said.
Sennott's new project, often compared to Lena Dunham’s acclaimed HBO Sitcom, Girls, was one of two comedy pilots HBO commissioned this past spring.
HBO has had a lot of tough decisions to make lately. There is one more decision around another hard-comedy pilot, The Chair Company, created by Tim Robinson and Zach Kanin.
Sennott is best known for the 2020 comedy Shiva Baby and the hit Prime Video comedy, Bottoms.
The exact number of episodes and the show's title have yet to be officially announced.
