DWTS Episode 3: Judge Carrie Ann Inaba's remarks on Dwight Howard's performance

The latest episode of DWTS featured various exciting dance performances. One of the dancing couples was former NBA star Dwight Howard. For his performance, he received "critique" remarks from one of the judges.

Dwight and his pro dance partner Daniella Karagach, performed Cha Cha. Their chosen song was Let's Groove by Earth, Wind & Fire. After their performance, DWTS judge Carrie Ann shared her views, which the audience did not support.

The judge opened up and mentioned that the performance was "hard to watch." Despite the audience's booing, she continued her remarks and told Dwight that she was going to share her views because she knew he could "take the critique."

"I know you can do better than that, and you're trying to trick us with all the expressions."

Carrie Ann mentioned that the performance was enjoyable and seeing him kept the "joy." However, the DWTS judge told him to "tone" his expressions "down a bit."

Rosie Perez, who appeared as the guest judge, agreed with Carrie Ann, as she shared,

"I have to agree with my fly girl over here. I love you. You know that I love you on the court. But I think you just need to work a little bit harder, that's it. But I love your passion, I really do, and you had so much fun out there."

Despite seeing such critique reviews from two judges, Dwight seems to be taking it well. Earlier, he admitted to the cameras that because of his traveling, the duo "barely" got any practice.

He also mentioned that he was "stressing out" as he found Cha Cha to be the "hardest" dance. He added that he was "really nervous" compared to the previous weeks.

As a result, Dwight and Dani received a score of 23, which was the second lowest for the third episode. Reginald and Emma received the lowest score, 21.

Fans can stream DWTS Season 33 Episode 4 on October 8, 2024, on ABC and Disney+.
