"Had a great time": The Last Of Us cast shares filming experiences from Season 2 

Fans are beyond thrilled since Season 2 of The Last of Us will finally start airing on April 13, 2025, on HBO and Max. Following the huge success of the first season, everyone is excitedly waiting for what comes next.

Season 2 carries forward the unflinching tale of a world ravaged by a lethal infection. It maintains the focus on emotional storytelling and the strong bonds between characters, particularly Ellie and Joel.

Co-stars Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal, in a recent interview, spoke of their experience shooting The Last of Us Season 2. Ramsey said she suffered bruises on set but had an amazing time. The actress added, in an interview to AP, available on YouTube:

"I had a great time. I got so bad and bruised. The stunt team did absolutely everything they could to protect me but I still somehow managed to get bruises every single time."

Bella Ramsey continued:

"I think I commit a bit too much, but it was a great time. I was absolutely exhausted the whole time but had a lot of fun doing it."

So, the actress made it clear that Pascal's and her characters have engaged in stunts, which holds the promise of an action-packed Season 2 for fans. The Catherine Called Birdy star also mentioned being proud because she did a few stunts she never imagined she would.

As mentioned, The Last of Us Season 2 is almost here, and Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal have talked about their experiences on the set. While they enjoyed filming the season, the stunt scenes, especially, were exhausting.

While talking about his character, Pascal said:

"Joel is an extreme example of what can happen if you don't face the truth."

As seen in the first season, Joel endured personal loss and gave his all to survive. Now in The Last of Us Season 2, he and Ellie are living in a more peaceful and organized place called Jackson, located in Wyoming.

It seems like they have found a stable life, but peace doesn't last long. Old trauma and new dangers begin to stir things up. Among new characters, Kaitlyn Dever will be play Abby, a strong fighter with a painful history.

Isabela Merced is Dina, Young Mazino plays Jesse, Jeffrey Wright portrays Isaac, and Tati Gabrielle steps in as Nora. These characters play a significant role in pushing the narrative, making it more engaging and thrilling.
