Shark Tank's mentor and Canadian Investor Kevin O'Leary is vocal about his opinions on world matters. He, time and again, keeps dwelling and dissecting the matters that impact the larger masses, be it AI, Cryptocurrency, TikTok ban, or any other pressing issue.

Recently, Kevin O'Leary shared a post on his Instagram which had him suited in his epic black three-piece, with a red pocket square. The shark was emphasizing the potential of hydroelectric energy and how it has been depleting, causing a state of instability in the economy. Here we will have to connect the dots for the audience, as Kevin did. He referred to the organically rich deeps of Ukraine which used to be the source of hydroelectric energy. But now due to the Russian attack, it has been degraded.

Shark Tank's O'Leary explained the Ukrainian turbines used to be the cheapest location to serve as the hub of the hydroelectricity generation. This form of energy supported a well-balanced real estate industry coupled with stability and growth. Kevin further mentioned:

"The lowest cost of energy in Europe for a long time was hydroelectricity in Ukraine. Powerful rivers, good turbines, and a lot were built around that power. Those facilities are run over by Russian tanks right now. It's sad. It's horrific. I hope it ends, but that's not stable. So for real estate developers, that's the worst outcome."

Why Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary remarks, "Saudi Arabia and the UAE are attracting global attention"?

Shark Tank investor Kevin O'Leary is eyeing two of the fastest-growing economies to boost his portfolio. He believes that the world is running after these two countries to establish stability in the real estate industry which requires the prowess of energy at many levels.

An Instagram clip shared by Kevin mentioned that currently, the UAE and Saudi Arabia are two economies that provide the lowest risk with transparency in law and capital investment. O'Leary emphasized higher growth demands calling for risky moves. But the key is to find a balance between the two.

Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary further elaborated on finding investment opportunities in Middle Eastern countries and said:

"There are very few economies. I can only think of 2 right now in this region that are growing this way. It's the UAE and it's Saudi Arabia. That's why I'm here. That I'm not the only person who sees this. I run into all my competitors in both places all the time."
