Game of Thrones has had fans hooked on to its riveting story season after season. With thrilling moments and twists planted all throughout the series, the show has left fans in shock multiple times. One such major moment in the show was when Emilia Clarke's Daenerys Targaryen was killed brutally by Jon Snow, who stabbed the Mad Queen in her belly.
However, while the death may have come as a shock to the audience, the makers of the show may have foreshadowed this death not once, but twice, in the first season itself.
The first season of the show itself features two iconic dialogues that seem to foreshadow the death of the Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Targaryen.

Daenerys Targaryen's death was foreshadowed twice in the first season of Game of Thrones itself
The first season of Game of Thrones had two very important scenes that featured dialogues that may have foreshadowed the manner of Daenerys Targaryen's death in the show.
In Episode 2 itself, during a conversation between Robert Baratheon and Ned Stark, the duo are seen discussing Daenerys Targaryen and her brother, Viserys. During this conversation, Robert is quoted saying that he wanted to see Daenerys killed by "a sharp knife and a bold man to wield it."
Although he may have meant an assassin, the "bold man" eventually turned out to be Jon Snow.
Similarly, in the next episode, Eddard Stark arrives in King's Landing and encounters Jaime Lannister in the Iron Throne room. The duo are seen having a discussion there, where they talk about the manner of King Aerys II Targaryen's death, which happened when Jaime Lannister stabbed him in the back. During this discussion, Lannister is seen pondering about whether it would have been better if he had stabbed the Mad King in his belly instead of his back.
This is also considered as a foreshadowing of the Mad Queen's death, since she was killed by being stabbed in her belly.
While these may seem like they were preplanned foreshadowings by the makers of Game of Thrones, it was later revealed that Daenerys Targaryen's death was not something that was planned before Season 3 of the show. Therefore, while these instances may seem like premonitions, they were not entirely preplanned but make for a nice Easter egg for anybody who is rewatching the show.
