On Thursday, August 29, 2024, Love Island USA stars Liv Walker and Kaylor Martin attended the Boohoo Collective launch party at Hyde Sunset, West Hollywood, California. While at the party, the stars shared some interesting insights about their time on Love Island USA with People.
Recalling how they were given a limited amount of alcohol on the reality show, Kaylor could be seen in a fun mood as she described her time in the villa. Liv compared the rationing of alcohol to feeling "like she was pregnant."
"If we had a little drink, we wouldn’t drink in the villa. I felt like I was pregnant," shared Liv Walker.
Kaylor then specified that the housemates were allowed to consume alcohol but in moderation, and mentioned it as "a drop."

Love Island USA premiered its sixth season on June 11, 2024, and featured cast members, including Olivia "Liv" Walker, Kaylor Martin, and others, referred to as "Islanders." It concluded with Serena Page and Kordell Beckham being declared the winners on August 19, 2024.
In a recent interview with People, Liv Walker shared how the islanders on the show were given less than moderate amounts of alcohol. For each day/ evening, the participants were only allowed a pre-determined quantity.
Referring to that, Liv recalled:
"They gave you a drop. They’re like, ‘Here’s this for the night.’ I’m like, ‘This?’ I’d drink it in one go."
She also shared how participants would "shell" their drinks and do "three spins."
"We would literally shell our drink, and do three spins. We’d do three spins so we’d get tipsy, but were just dizzy. But like whoa. They’d be like, ‘stop spinning.’ We’d be like ‘no, spin, spin, spin.’ "
While they touched upon drinking, the duo joked about their new upcoming project "Blonde Moments." Kaylor also joined the teasing and joked about how she and Liv would refer to their normal days as "drunk" compared to their time on the show.
Kaylor and Liv have been close friends since their time on Love Island USA, and Kaylor describes Liv as her "ride-or-die" and a genuine soul.
