Shark Tank Season 16 is bringing deal after deal that has enchanted the fans and the Investors. The entrepreneurial spirit and innovation are the key to the products that get investment from the sharks. However, apart from the deals, investment, and snatching the best product from the other sharks, the show's investors spend half of the time with their families.
Recently, the Canadian Investor and businessman Kevin O'Leary from Shark Tank opened up about his opinion on the importance of family and having as many kids as possible. In September 2024, the shark during an interview with Fox Business, shared his perspective on starting the family life as early as possible.
He also mentioned that people should not be reluctant to have more children because of their financial status. He regretted not having kids at a younger age and said:
"Family is everything; that's what it's all about. I waited until I was 36 before I even got married — that was a mistake, and I realize it now. And I love my kids. But, boy, I wish I had more time with them at a younger age."
Shark Tank investor Kevin O'Leary warns couple to be cautious
Kevin O'Leary, a prominent investor in the television show Shark Tank, has been involved with the program since it first aired. He is married to Linda, whom he wed in 1990. Over the years, their relationship has flourished, and together they have raised two children: a daughter named Savannah and a son named Trevor.
Kevin is known for his candid discussions about family values and has expressed a strong preference for having a large and lively family. Through his public appearances and interviews, he shares insights into the joys and challenges of raising children.
Shark Tank's investor also realizes that raising kids is an expensive business. During CNBC Make It in 2019, Kevin admired having more children but also stated:
"Of course, it's wonderful to have a family, and I endorse the idea forever. It's wonderful to have children grow up with you, watch them age, and become part of a family. It's fantastic. But they're not free. They're very expensive."
Kevin also opened up about the couples who rush into marriage only to get problems later in their marriage. He suggested that the couples should think through the decision and also advised them to go for a prenup to cover their assets in the future.
Shark Tank season 16 airs on ABC on Wednesdays at 8 pm ET/PT.
