More about Euphoria

HBO officially announced the renewal of Euphoria Season 3 on February 4, 2025, three years since the release of Season 2, and also shared an update on X about the start of production. Francesca Orsi, the executive VP of HBO Programming, also shared her statement on this. She stated:

"I am thrilled that we are ready to begin production on Euphoria in January. We could not be happier with our creative partnership with Sam [Levinson] and this incredible cast. We look forward to bringing this new season of Euphoria to life for the fans."

Zendaya will be back to reprise her character, Rue, with Dane and Jacob Elordi reprising their roles of Cal and Nate Jacobs, respectively. Apart from them, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Hunter Schafer, and Maude Apatow will also be back for the new season.

However, Storm Reid, who plays the character of Gia, Zendaya's younger sister in the series, will not return for the new season. According to TV Guide, she shared this information in a Rotten Tomatoes interview in 2024. She said:

"Unfortunately, Gia's not returning to the third season, but I am so, so indebted to the cast and the crew of that show, to HBO. Euphoria's a really special thing and I'm so glad that that's a part of my legacy and that I was a part of such a cultural phenomenon."

As the drama is still in production, it might hit the screens in early 2026, according to a report in Variety. The fans have been eagerly waiting for the acclaimed HBO series to be back.
