Selling The City stars Eleonora and Jade share both personal and professional history. Both ladies work as one of the most credible realtors at Douglas Elliman and have also been friends for quite a long time. However, their equation on the show serves more of a 'frenemies" vibe. The two could not keep their jabs at each other from the very start.
In episode 1, the cast of Selling The City met to celebrate Jade and Steve's deal. The luncheon excluded Gisselle, Jordyn, and Abi from Eleonora's team, as Jade might not have been comfortable with them. However, even Jade and Eleonora found themselves in an awkward position as they all discussed business. Firstly, Eleonora looked mad at Jade for passing a comment on her team members, which was followed by luring Taylor to join her in the new development work.
Eleonora also felt that Jade was trying to show off in front of Steve. When Jade revealed that a certain property's sale would allow them to keep 100% commission by the firm, Eleonora mentioned that she did not work based on how much commission she was making out of it.
After Eleonora walked out of the restaurant, Jade got mad at her demeanor throughout the lunch and mentioned to Justin and Taylor:
"If she is going to act like this towards me, I am going to throw this b**ch so far under. She has no idea what's coming for her. Don't come at me."
Jade and Eleonora from Selling The City clash over their personal view in Episode 1 of the show
In episode 1 of Selling The City, the two friends, Jade and Eleonora, clashed over their personal views. However, it did seem to fire up in the wrong direction later, as Jade got furious, and Eleonora walked out of the lunch. The Douglas Elliman realtors hung out for a lunch party that quickly turned sour as Jade and Eleonora started crossing each other.
The take started with Jade claiming that she has a problem mixing her personal and professional life, to which Eleonora said that she has put everything online for this career, so everything is personal. Steve supported Eleonora's point while Jade quipped that "she takes everything personally."
Later, Jade confronted Eleonora for her "nasty" behavior towards her, to which Eleonora had no reply and simply walked off. However, it was clear from the previous setting that Eleonora was mad at Jade for fishing Taylor to her side and showing off in front of Steve while trying to put her down.
Selling The City Season 1 is streaming only on Netflix.
