The Circle Season 7 aired its first four episodes recently on Netflix on September 11, 2024. In the first episode, the show introduced competitors who got to know other players through their "profiles."
Some participants include Deb, who came into the show by "Catfishing," i.e., she would present herself as Rachel, a 26-year-old girl. Then there are twin brothers JoJo and Nicky, who are also catfishing and entered the show, appearing to be the latter's girlfriend, Gianna.
During episode 1, Deb's persona, Rachel, appears to be forming a close connection with Gianna, who is JoJo and Nicky's fake persona. It started after the Scarlotta twins decided to chat with Rachel privately.
One of the twins', aka Gianna's message to Rachel was,
"OMG. I'm screaming. What I would do for an ice after a slice. I literally grew up 15 minutes from Port Richmond High School, my uncle still coaches the football team! Did we just become besties? #IThinkSo"
The Circle Season 7 Episode 1: Rachel and Gianna's first "private chat" brings Deb and Scarlotta twins closer
The debut episode featured JoJo and Nicky forming a "genuine" connection via their catfish persona, Gianna, with fellow participant Deb's catfish persona, Rachel.
"And the important burning question is, we need to find out if her mom's really from Staten Island or if she said that and shot something in the dark," shared Nicky.
JoJo agreed on that, too, and then decided to send a private chat request to "Rachel." Their first message to Rachel read,
"Hi sissy! I'm still in shock about your mom. Which town is she from? I need all the juicy details, LOL."
The twins were expecting some real answers from Rachel as they had a "very good feeling" about her.
Being Rachel, Deb replied that she remembered about her mom's high school and mentioned "Port Richmond."
After learning about the crucial details, such as the town name, a unique iced tea, and the high school, JoJo and Nicky seemed happy. They believed that Rachel was a "genuine" connection as Nicky jumped with excitement. The twins then discussed how only those who grew up in Staten Island would know about the "original Ralph's Ices."
They replied that Gianna grew up 15 minutes from Port Richmond High School, and the message ended with, "Did we just become besties?"
While sitting on her bed, Deb screamed excitedly and said she didn't even "know" what to do. Before sending the reply, Deb thought, "What would Rachel do?"
"GTFO!! What if our moms knew each other growing up? We are totally besties, and we answered all the questions in the game the same. #SuperCircleSquad." Deb aka Rachel's reply read.
JoJo and Nickey "loved" Rachel as they send another message, stating the same,
"I literally love you!! Just so you know, I got your back to the finish line, best believe we are all getting together after this. I cannot wait!"
While Deb felt "dead" after the conversation, the twin brothers thought they found their "strongest alliance" in The Circle Season 7. JoJo also mentioned that, after forming such a close connection with Rachel, if she "screws them over," then he would "literally have a breakdown."
The private conversation between Rachel and Gianna continued in The Circle Season 7's first episode, and they believed they had found a "genuine" connection on the show.
