On February 15, 2025, The Man Without Fear's fans were excited to hear an update on Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. Just two weeks remain until the first season of Born Again premieres on television on March 4, 2025, and the cast and crew of the show have disclosed that season two production has already started. This was confirmed by none other than executive producer Sana Amanat, the co-creator of Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel.
This is not the first time Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 was officially confirmed, though. Charlie Cox did the same during his appearance at the FAN EXPO San Francisco 2024. Here's what he said:
“It’s been so many years since we released any Daredevil content. I’m really excited about it. By the time we release [Born Again] on March 4th, we’ll already be shooting season 2. So it’s just a gift that keeps on giving, really.”
Sana Amanat, the executive producer of Daredevil: Born Again, teased the second season on February 15, 2025. She did so by posting an image as a story on her Instagram account. It had the caption:
"Prepping for season 2 while launching season 1! Here we go! #daredevilbornagain."

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 confirmed by showrunner Dario Scardapane
Apart from Amanat, showrunner Dario Scardapane spoke about Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 in an interview with Empire's Ben Travis. He told Travis that season 2 would be a new experience for the team as there's no previously shot footage. He had this to say about Daredevil: Born Again Season 2:
“Season 2's a blast, because we're not shackled by any previously shot footage. We're swinging for the fences. It's on par with huge Greek epics, lots of big themes. Unless you dig really deep into the books, the place that Kingpin and Daredevil wind up at the end of Season 2 is unfathomable, given where they've been. Making a story that can endure and has legs, that was calculated.”
Apart from this, Dario Scardapane also revealed to Travis what his pitch for the new version of Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 was after Marvel decided to pull the plug on the previous version of the same show. He said:
“That was actually one of the first things I said to the bosses. You can’t do this show without Karen and Foggy. They’re Matt’s family. They’re the heart of his world. You can’t take them out without explaining why, and if that explanation doesn’t ring true, don’t take them out.”
How are you feeling about this tease for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2? The first episode of season 1 of Born Again will be available to stream on March 4, 2025.
